Finq is a product of milsol B.V., located at Eglantierbaan 61, 2908 LV Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 98242903. We are the data controller for the data you entrust to Finq. Questions? Email hello@getfinq.app.

What data we process

• Account data: your email address, your name if you enter it, and an encrypted password.
• Records data: everything you put into Finq yourself, such as customers, projects, hours, quotes, invoices, expenses, assets, trips, and imported bank transactions.
• Technical data: the bare minimum to run the service securely, such as your session credentials. We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.

What we use it for

Solely to make Finq work: storing your records, syncing them across your devices, and displaying them when you sign in. We do not sell data and do not use your records for any other purposes.

Where your data is stored

Your records are stored in a secure database at Supabase, in a data center within the European Union. The website is hosted by Vercel. Data processing agreements are in place with these parties. In addition, your browser keeps a local copy of your records, so Finq also works without a connection.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your data from the database. You can download a full export of your records yourself at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and transfer your data. Viewing and correcting can be done directly in the app; so can exporting. For deletion or other requests, email hello@getfinq.app. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

All traffic goes through an encrypted connection. In the database, every row is tied to your account: only you can access your records, other users cannot.

Cookies and local storage

Finq uses no tracking or advertising cookies. We only use functional local storage in your browser: for your sign-in session, your theme preference, and the local copy of your records.

Changes

If this statement changes, we update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will let you know in the app.
